Support for those in the Salem community affected by breast cancer. An opportunity to connect with each other and share experiences.

Learn about balanced nutrition in cancer treatment and survivorship. Topics include healthy eating guidelines, sugar and cancer risk, vitamin and mineral supplements and common nutrition questions. Have more questions? Ask a Registered Dietitian during a group question and answer session.

A unique way to cope with the stress of cancer and other life obstacles. Join us to knit, crochet, and share. All are welcome and group members are willing to teach.

Chair Yoga

Gear specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. No experience or flexibility required.

Yoga: Basics
You will be encouraged through traditional yoga postures with emphasis on steady breathing, proper alignment and self-awareness.

Rise: Recovery In Strength Exercise
A supportive environment with appropriate exercises tailored for each individual to help them regain strength, stamina and balance.

Functional Fitness for Cancer
Exercise safely by using your own body weight for functional exercises that follow everyday movement patterns.


Where: Classes are located in CHEC, Salem Hospital, Building D

When: Classes are six-week sessions
