Sam Collins, Charles Essex, M.D., Amy Lowery, Jennifer Moran and Mitch Ratzlaff, have joined the West Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Sam Collins, Charles Essex, M.D., Amy Lowery, Jennifer Moran and Mitch Ratzlaff, have joined the West Valley Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Collins is a Senior Vice President of Marquis Spas in Independence.

Dr. Essex specializes in family medicine, practicing at the Monmouth Medical Center, an affiliate of West Valley Hospital.

Lowery is the Vice President and General Manager of Bollman Funeral Home and Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center.

Moran is the controller at Meduri Farms in Dallas, and Ratzlaff is a State Farm Insurance Agent in Dallas.

Officers are: Chair, Lane Shetterly; Vice Chair, Carrie Casebeer and Treasurer, Phil Walker. Other board members are Jim Fairchild, Donna Graham, Becky Jacroux, Sue Lamb, Bruce Lattin, Ben Magill and Diana Rash.

Ray Brodersen, Majduddin “Mo” Jaffer and Eldon Neufeld are leaving the board, joining Gigi Starbuck as emeritus members.

The West Valley Hospital Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to raising, managing and distributing funds to help West Valley Hospital provide healthcare services to the people of Polk County.
